Greenway Arts Alliance | Teacher’s Fund
In partnership with the Friends of Fairfax and support from Greenway Arts Alliance’s Melrose Trading Post, the Teacher’s Fund provides Fairfax High School classroom teachers and staff, support for in-class and professional development needs. These small support grants can be used for an unlimited variety of projects; all designed to create enhanced learning environments incorporating art and creativity in the classroom.
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements
- Current Fairfax High School classroom teacher, support aide, or staff member
- Requestor must work to incorporate art and creativity in the classroom
- Requestor must submit an online application
GRANT REQUEST INFORMATION
- Eligible applicants may apply online here.
- Individuals may apply for up to $500.00 and teams may apply for up to $1,000
- Note: While team members may be from different classes, all members must meet the eligibility criteria.
- Eligible applicants may submit only one (1) application per school year.
- Applicants will be notified of their grant status within 2 weeks of submission.
- Grant recipients will be invited to the Fall 2023 Teacher Engagement Night (Date TBD)
