15 Oct Ghost Stories: The Dead Can’t Dance at Greenway Court Theatre!
This Halloween Season, Greenway Court Theatre is proud to present Ghost Stories: The Dead Can’t Dance, an immersive multimedia show integrating storytelling, song, and dance that features ghost stories from across cultures. Greenway co-founders Pierson Blaetz and Whitney Weston have served as co-artistic directors for the production, with music director and band leader Smiley Bone Jones and choregrapher Imani Estese.
The production will also be the focus of this year’s GreenwayREADS program. Participating students have been reading La Llorona in their classrooms and will now get to see the tale come to life alongside other ghost stories in special matinee performances of the production!
Ghost stories are woven into the fabric of all cultures; they know no borders. We are haunted and fascinated by them, sitting around a fire telling ghost stories is one the oldest and most universal of human experiences.
Join us for a night of ghost stories brought to life by some of L.A.’s most renowned storytellers as they share their tales through an immersive, cross-cultural evening of music, theatre, and dance.
