24 Apr Fairfax Visual Arts: Student Art Expo
Greenway Institute for the Arts collaborated with Fairfax High School Visual Arts Magnet to present a Student Art Exhibition on campus. Students created artwork in different mediums that fit the exhibition’s theme: “The Next First Step: Reimagining the Future.” The expo was held after school from 4-6 PM on April 11th and during Melrose Trading Post from 12-2 PM on April 21st.

To help them prepare for this opportunity, they participated in workshops led by street muralist Corie Mattie aka “LA Hope Dealer”. During the workshops, Corie gave students valuable feedback on their art pieces and taught them how to market themselves as artists.
