Greenway Arts Alliance allows current Fairfax High School students to work alongside professional workforce members. Through internships in the Greenway Institute for the Arts, the Greenway Court Theatre, and the Melrose Trading Post, students build skills and work experience that will last long after graduation. Internships and the MTP Work-Study program are PAID and range from 2-10 hours per week and include professional development sessions exploring careers, communication, leadership, and workplace best practices.
Student workers for the Melrose Trading Post work approximately 7 hours on scheduled Sundays.

Melrose Trading Post Work-Study
Be an integral part of the Melrose Trading Post Operations Team! We’re always looking for hard working students with a good attitude who are able to take direction, work as a team, and show leadership.
Duties: Food court maintenance, market setup & cleanup, parking attendant, ticket taker and much more.
Schedule: Must be available Sundays for the following time frames 6:30 AM- 1:30 PM and 12:00 PM- 7:30 PM.
Internships
Are you interested in working behind the scenes alongside professional theatre and arts administration practitioners? There are several opportunities for students to work at the Greenway Institute for the Arts, Greenway Court Theatre, and Melrose Trading Post through our paid internship program.
Schedule: 2-4 Hours per week after school. Hours vary if working on production. Gardening Intern must be available some Sundays.
Interns and student workers will also be required to attend paid monthly Professional Development workshops (Dev Sessions) throughout the semester.
